As the Destination Marketing arena becomes increasingly complex, DMOproZ strives to provide an easily accessed Knowledge Bank for DMO pros around the world. From White Papers to cutting edge Research to our recommendations on books to make you think, videos to encourage your creativity and blogs to keep you current.

And, we want this to be a two-way street. When you see a great resource that would be a benefit to the DMO collective, shoot it our way and we'll post it up for your peers.

James Ingram

James-ingramHe was best known for his duets (like "Baby Come to Me" with Patti Austin)...but James Ingram was a rare talent that blazed through the musical scene of the '80s. "I Don't Have the Heart," "Just Once" and "Ya Mo Be There." Yeah, the kid from Akron had it going on.

On those weeks when I'm on the road more than I'd like, prepping in the evening for the next day's session with clients, Terri will often text me with, "are you there Fievel?" Watching the same moon?

His solo work was so cool (Quincy Jones called it "soulful, whiskey sounding and magical")...but, on this sad Music Friday, this is our fave: "Somewhere Out There" with Linda Ronstadt.

Rest, sweet prince.
