As the Destination Marketing arena becomes increasingly complex, DMOproZ strives to provide an easily accessed Knowledge Bank for DMO pros around the world. From White Papers to cutting edge Research to our recommendations on books to make you think, videos to encourage your creativity and blogs to keep you current.

And, we want this to be a two-way street. When you see a great resource that would be a benefit to the DMO collective, shoot it our way and we'll post it up for your peers.

One for a Desert Island

CoryI love the philosophical question of what songs would be on your playlist if you were stranded on a desert island. The answers say a lot about who you are.

Of course, without the ability to recharge batteries using solar, that playlist would be short lived. But, still...

One of the tracks that has been a favorite for decades and on my short list (and pretty much encapsulates the love I have for the woman with whom I share my life) is the R&B classic "Ain't That A Lot of Love," written by Homer Banks and Willa Dean Parker. Sam & Dave recorded their version in 1968.

I discovered the song when Cory Wells and Three Dog Night tore it down the following year.

And, in 2009, Simply Red made the song easy to understand.

On my island, on this Music Friday...I want them all.
