We No Longer Own the Story

We've been telling audiences and Boards for the past few years that the role of a Destination Marketing Organization has evolved to that of "storyteller." But, as Lauren Quaintance points out (in this piece that sets the stage for her upcoming talk at Mumbrella Asia's Travel Marketing Summit) DMOs no longer "own" the story they are telling.

The traveller does. And, how we channel their story will be the new future of Destination Marketing.
