As the Destination Marketing arena becomes increasingly complex, DMOproZ strives to provide an easily accessed Knowledge Bank for DMO pros around the world. From White Papers to cutting edge Research to our recommendations on books to make you think, videos to encourage your creativity and blogs to keep you current.

And, we want this to be a two-way street. When you see a great resource that would be a benefit to the DMO collective, shoot it our way and we'll post it up for your peers.

Ginger Baker

GingHe was the whirling dervish of '60s and '70s drummers. Bonham played harder. Moon played more frenetic. But it was Ginger Baker that defined the drum solo, well before Iron Butterfly.

Two-thirds of Cream has now, sadly, portaled on. And, on this Music Friday, we look back on Ginger's time in both Cream and Blind Faith (super-groups, they were called).

There is the delightfully childlike interview about how he plays.

There is this from Cream's final concert.

And then, there is his turn in Blind Faith...with Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood.

Ginger Baker...well played.
